As the clock ticks down to the premiere, just one month away from its airing, the eagerly anticipated spin-off series, "The Penguin," derived from "The New Batman," unveils a countdown poster. This series delves into the ascent of The Penguin, Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, within Gotham City's criminal underworld. On the creative front, Colin Farrell reprises his role as The Penguin; Kristen Milioti takes on the character of The Hangman; Mark Strong portrays The Roman; and Clancy Brown steps into the shoes of one of Gotham's former mob bosses, Salvatore Maroni. Craig Zobel, an executive producer, directs the first three episodes and also serves as an executive producer. Lauren LeFranc acts as writer and showrunner, with Farrell joining the ranks of executive producers alongside the film's director, Matt Reeves, and producer Dylan Clark.
The eight-episode series, "The Penguin," is set to debut on HBO Max on September 19, 2024.
